The Fundamental Lesson

The fundamental lesson is when you see these things you will notice that they come and they go, and you know that which comes and goes is not real. The real does not come and go. The reason these emotions seem so strong so often is because they are at the limit of your ability to confront the situation and that means that the patterns that you’ve used in the past are not really useful and there’s something new to be learned or understood or dealt with.
